Fetch current stock prices and market caps from fiscal.ai. Requires a valid API key. Scores are not modified — only the financial context data (price, market cap) updates.

What updates: Current stock price and market cap are fetched from https://api.fiscal.ai/v2/stock-prices?companyKey=EXCHANGE_TICKER and displayed alongside each company. Ethical scores are not changed.

What fiscal.ai does not provide: ESG ratings, controversy data, or news monitoring — these remain human-authored. For news updates, see the companion Python refresh script (refresh.py) which can query news APIs and flag potentially score-relevant events for manual review.

API key: Keys are only used in your browser and never sent to any server other than api.fiscal.ai directly.

Methodology: Fundamental scores reflect absolute real-world harm/benefit. Relative scores compare to direct sector peers. Scale −3 to +3. Excludes all formal ESG ratings from MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE Russell, ISS, CDP. This list of companies comes from the "State Street® SPDR® Portfolio S&P 1500® Composite Stock Market ETF" and may lag the actual S&P index.
Data currency: S&P 1500 composition: SPTM ETF holdings (State Street/SPDR), April 21 2026. 503 S&P 500 · 401 S&P MidCap 400 · 603 S&P SmallCap 600. Ethical scoring (50 companies): April 2026.
